Khalti Betting Sites — What Nepali Bettors Should Know

Khalti is Nepal’s second-largest digital wallet and a common payment option in betting apps. Six of the eight offshore betting sites we checked list it for Nepal. Crickex and Betwinner do not.

Khalti has no partnership with any betting operator. Nepal Rastra Bank has warned it will freeze wallets used for betting. Betting itself has been illegal in Nepal since March 2026.

Khalti Betting Sites We Checked

Minimums are as listed at each operator. We did not deposit through Khalti. Our cricket bets at these six betting sites lost, so we have no Khalti withdrawal results.

1xBet

1xBet is the betting site with the lowest Khalti minimum we found: NPR 100. 1xBet also lists eSewa and IME Pay. Trustpilot hides the 1xBet score after removing fake reviews (October 2026). Common complaints are blocked accounts after verification.

Megapari

Megapari is a betting site that lists Khalti, eSewa and IME Pay, each from NPR 500. Megapari’s Trustpilot reviews split: 54% 5-star and 31% 1-star (October 2026). Some players report payouts in under 12 hours. Others report a blocked withdrawal after a win.

Mostbet

Mostbet is a betting site that lists Khalti from NPR 500 among 15+ payment methods. 70% of Mostbet’s Trustpilot reviews are 1-star (October 2026). Reports range from cancelled withdrawals to slow but successful payouts.

Melbet, PariPulse and 888starz are the other betting sites with Khalti. Their profiles are in our betting sites in Nepal review.

Khalti Limits for Betting Deposits

Khalti requires KYC before any transaction. The minimum transfer is NPR 10. Balances above NPR 50,000 must be withdrawn before the day ends. Figures come from Khalti’s published limits and apply to any betting site deposit.

Khalti vs eSewa for Betting Deposits

Khalti allows a single NPR 50,000 transfer. eSewa splits the same amount into two NPR 25,000 transfers. Crickex is the one betting site in our review with eSewa but no Khalti. Both wallets face the same NRB freeze risk.

Direct Cashier or Agent?

Some betting sites and betting apps credit Khalti payments through their own cashier. Others ask you to send money to an agent’s personal Khalti ID. Agent payments leave no record in your betting account. If the agent disappears, no one is responsible. Use only the site’s own cashier, and treat agent-only sites as a warning sign.

Can Khalti Freeze Your Wallet?

Yes. NRB has warned that wallets used to pay betting sites will be suspended. In March 2026 the Prime Minister’s Office ordered action against wallets linked to betting. Khalti does not publish what happens to a frozen balance.

Khalti Betting Sites — Final Thoughts

Six betting sites list Khalti, with minimums from NPR 100. Our betting apps in Nepal guide covers the apps themselves, and our payment methods comparison covers every alternative. Khalti handles larger single transfers than eSewa. We have no Khalti withdrawal data yet, and every listed betting site carries payment complaints. Compare the NPR 100–500 minimums above before you choose one. Betting is illegal in Nepal, and NRB can freeze wallets used for it.
