Quality of life Index by country (2021-mid)

some criteria used to outline the quality of life

Numbeo

Originally Numbeo was a website that used to collect the data from the user to get to know the cost of living and the comparison between the countries and cities. Founded in 2009, then from 2011, Numbeo started to collect other data from the users such as pollution, healthcare, and crime to name a few. Since then Numbeo has come a long way and now it does not collect only the cost of living or pollution, it has named itself as one of the reliable sources of information. The good thing about Numbeo is it relies on the public, the people who live and actively engage to give the information, it is in no way bound to the government. Now, the con is since it is completed by the people, it might not be so accurate. But who cares, these are the times even government fabricates the truth.

Numbeo is a non- government-related site, and its program is solely based on the people for the people. Now there are no guarantees that these data are very accurate, some or many might drop in the data as they like without any proper understanding. Coming to Nepal it’s a lot worse not because there are no rightful data but there are very few who participated in this.https://www.numbeo.com/quality-of-life/country_result.jsp?country=Nepal

Hence, I personally request all of the population living in Nepal to fill in these as if these are the votes. It is also wrong of me to say all of the Nepalese, those who have access to, those who care about our land, those who do not deny the fact that you are born as Nepalese and this country has taught you to crawl and run. Our youths are going abroad never to come back and even if they do come back as if they are tourists, not a native of Nepal, dangling a camera on their neck and ordering coffee instead of our traditional tea. The sad irony is the amount of data that we have processed in the Numbeo is so low that, the figure speaks the whole story.

These data are based on 295 entries in the past 18 months from 52 different contributors across Nepal.
