German-Shepherd
Type of Dog Breed

Since there are total number of 340 dog breeds that has been officially recorded up to  year 2020.As, i started researching and reading about these breeds it is not a new thing that most of the dog breeds are not natural and are designed by us,humans.Years and years of cross breeding and at times modifying their original anatomy we have managed to have that number of 340 and this number might keep on growing as there is no limit of cross breeding and modifying their original state.

Our relation with these fantastic animals might date back to our cave days, even there are no such evidence.Science daily has the following statement about the dogs.

By analyzing the DNA of two prehistoric dogs from Germany, an international research team led by Krishna R. Veeramah, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ecology & Evolution in the College of Arts & Sciences at Stony Brook University, has determined that their genomes were the probable ancestors of modern European dogs. The finding, to be published in Nature Communications, suggests a single domestication event of modern dogs from a population of gray wolves that occurred between 20,000 and 40,000 years ago.

There are total of 7 groups of dogs:
