Which cities were visited most in 2020 despite the co-vid crisis?

as of march 26 2020

The year 2020 was devastated due to the corona epidemic. Lots of sectors including commerce, aviation, factories producing FMCG were hit hard. Millions lost their jobs, almost half of the world were imprisoned inside their own home. Now, the surprising part is the worst hit and the most hampered sector was and should be tourism. Still despite of this deadly pandemic , it did not stop people from traveling. Although there were lots of restrictions and mandatory screening, it still did not stop the people from traveling.

Nepal had the huge preparation for the tourism industry in the year 2020, but due to this deadly epidemic they had to cancel the whole event.Although, there are no official figures that has been released for the expenses and loses due to the fact but it did a great burden to the country. Specially the country that relies heavily on tourism such factor decays the economic and social factor.

we hope the next phase won’t be this disastrous

Anyway, something cannot be stopped no matter what. Traveling comes in one of them. Maybe travelers found hotels and other arrangements in bargain deal or it was just a challenge for some, below i have compiled list of most visited cities in the year 2020.I hope all were safe and they had the time of their life despite the life threatening virus.

Conclusion

Apart from this there are other cities like Seoul,Osaka,Makkah, Phuket, Pataya, Milan, Barcelona, Bali and Hong Kong.If Nepal or Kathmandu wants to compete with them there are lots of homework to be done.I still stay Lumbini and Mount Everest is not enough to promote this country in the world map.

Business ventures and growth opportunity aside, these cities gained their title of the most visited cities in the world due to strong local culture and variety in attractions.

This list of the world’s most visited cities has shown that travelers choose their destinations based off what unique experiences it can give them, opposed to spending potential or first-world comforts.

Diverse geography is a plus too.

Bali, for instance, is trending for its choice of jungle stay, seaside resorts, and city dwellings. Similarly, the sharp contrast between metropolitan Istanbul and Dubai versus their desert settings offers one-of-a-kind sights.

The trend carries over to more urban cities as well; Bangkok is visual cacophony of golden temples, unusual floating markets, sleek shopping malls and old villages. London and Paris too offer neighborhoods with distinctive style.
