NEPAL HAS SOME MINIMUM BASIS OF PERSONAL GREEDINESS AMONG SOME MINOR CITIZEN NOT A CORRUPTION ON NATIONAL BASIS. THEY ARE SUCH CIVILIANS WHO STILL LOOK AFTER THEIR MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER, THEY DO NOT DUMP THEM AT THE ELDERLY HOME TO DIE. WE DO NOT SELL OUR MOTHER OR MOTHERLAND.
Who say so and on what basis they can claim so-
Just reading some transparency international where the data reached to them are based on minority or couple of bribery issues personally felt or is the frustration of not succeeding…?? might be others but pls do remember—
corruption is not only defined by the hardship to get your way through…lucky you that you are not in Myanmar or South Korea.
data claimed by the reporters are based in major cities, pls visit some outskirts of Kathmandu, and pls tell me if they allow you to sleep over their house for free or treat you more than a guest innocently. I know you mean corruption requires documentation and stuff but still people living in the country are one of them.
if cases of bribery or contacts come, try to talk them in a very patriotic manner speaking bold words but still not insulting the person…i do genuinely believe loyalty exist in our blood towards Nepal..maybe the insecurity and foreign media have influenced us so much..we think about tomorrow much than today….but a Nepali will not tolerate anyone challenging their loyalty towards the motherland and most important—ONE OF THE RICHEST CULTURE AND HERITAGE IN THE WORLD. ….you just make sure you are right and doing right first rather than copying others easy way out or simply following them- he is doing it so why can’t i??—u arrogant fool, don’t live a life of imitation.
now, maybe you have been around the globe or you have not..one thing I am certain of-corruption is a world wide phenomenon and it is fueled by nonother than advertising and media. if you say u.s is not corrupted. Beverly Hills or Santa Monica area is certainly different then outskirts of Nevada. racism is still considered in lots of parts of states including Australia…I call corruption not being fair..not only taking or wanting.
I have been to a couple of places in Africa and to mention in Egypt, the government has so much authority that considers your paperwork to finish when the mood of the officer is. travel to South Asia, it is very worse than what you might imagine..like Cambodia. Vietnam where tourists are given water to bathe when someone is dying of thirst…Indonesia where the immigrant officer is nagging you so much even you have a clear entry visa in return of favor….Philippines where cops ask you to meet him at the nearby bar ..just to smuggle some mango(i mean fruits, a real one.they proclaimed it as a security threat cause of the look in x-ray machine).middle east countries, which are one of the richest in the world- rarely things work without some sort of connection or influence of the local citizen. this is an indicator of pure corruption…what else..??. I will leave that to it.
The world is many strangers and difficult than the life you live and facing the adversity.. don’t think that way..sometimes not getting what you want or a bit of difficulty will lead to negative reactions..be positive and act so..this way you yourself create a good indication and surely it will spread.
Good wishes to you for that… and pls have a bit of patience. our economy and the state of country has gone to sudden drastic change in centuries. we were a walking museum just 30 years back and what would you expect when you are flooded with vast outside influence so sudden. we still have mixed generation with conflicting thoughts..pls have a bit patience and most important- start yourself living a life not imitated.
